The Australian School of Advanced Medicine at Macquarie is the first medical school in Australia to be linked to a private teaching hospital on a university campus. The school brings together world-class clinicians, researchers and medical educators to create an innovative training program with a focus on future trends in medicine.
Macquarie combines an integrated approach to clinical care, teaching and research. We provide post-fellowship, sub-specialty training in medicine and surgery as well as higher research degrees. The school has been designated a Concentration of Research Excellence (CoRE) at Macquarie University in Neuroscience, Vascular Science and Surgery. The school is also an international luminary research site for GE Healthcare. Central to the school is the Macquarie University Neuroscience Centre.
