Tyler has worked as a speech pathologist for over 24 years. After completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Sydney, she completed a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders at Macquarie University.
She has a particular interest in working with children and adults who stutter. She has worked at both The Stuttering Unit, Bankstown and the Australian Stuttering Research Centre, The University of Sydney. She has extensive experience using the Lidcombe Program, the gold standard for paediatric stuttering treatment, and has also trained other speech pathologists in the use of this program. She has experience treating individual clients, developing treatment groups, and providing consultation services for parents and teachers. She has worked in health, school and private practice settings. Tyler also has experience working with children with speech sound, language and literacy difficulties.
