Macquarie University Hospital (MUH) will open its doors in mid-2010 as the first university campus-based private hospital in Australia.

Macquarie University Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experience professional for the position as a registered nurse Intensive care/Coronary care unit (combined).

You will have a commitment to ensuring best practice care is provided to patients. You will have a commitment to actively participating in ongoing learning.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • State Registered Nurse with the New South Wales Nurses Registration Board
  • Minimum 2 years experience in ICU / CITCU 
  • Well- developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills
  • Understand and utilise the concept of team nursing
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary

 

Desirable

  • Post graduate qualification in Critical Care or speciality area or working towards same
