Clinical Nurse Specialist – Day Surgery (Ref No: 1052)

MUH is seeking a dynamic and experience Clinical Nurse Specialist for our Day Surgery unit.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

• Current registration with AHPRA
• At least 4 years nursing experience in Day Surgery area
• Experience in coordinating training and orientation programs for nursing staff
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication and information technology skills
• Well developed skills to manage conflicting tasks and priorities
• An ability to plan and implement education requirements
• Experience in workplace training and assessment, holding a formal qualification or working towards same

Desirable criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in nursing education
• Experience in the same or similar role
• Current knowledge and clinical expertise in all aspects of general surgery
