TEAM LEADER STERILISING SERVICES UNIT (REF 1067)

Sterilising Services Unit provides a support service, assisting medical and nursing staff in providing surgical and clinical care to patients. SSU Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the SSU including supporting the Supervisor/Manager with the development and implementation of a continuous quality improvement program that will improve customer service and set standards.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

• Sound knowledge of theatre instrument and other surgical & medical devices
• Proven experience in working effectively in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Well-developed oral & written communication skills
• Committed to delivering quality in health care service & a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge & respect for workplace safety
• Ability to work in stressful situations, maintaining confidentiality and flexibility
• Health Services Assistance - Sterilisation Services HLT31107 Certificate ll or lll
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Sterilising Unit
