Anaesthetics/Perfusion Technician – Anaesthetics department & Operating Suite (Reference No: 1131)

Macquarie University Hospital (MUH) opened its doors in June 2010 as the first university campus-based private hospital in Australia.

MUH is currently looking for Anaesthetics Technicians to deliver direct patient care within the boundaries of education competencies and skills under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Anaesthetist.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

• Diploma of Paramedical Science (Anaesthesia) or equivalent.
• Relevant experience for the specialty unit.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving and communication
• Good organisational skills
• High degree of reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to participate in continuing education for self

Desirable criteria:

• Experience within the private health sector
• Experience in perfusion.
